ART TEMPLE / MATTE BLACK
Commissioned to transform a privately owned art gallery into a fully immersive audiovisual journey, Supply & demand conceived and designed an experience that begins the moment the visitor steps inside. Multi-screen environments unfold across the gallery space, each room building toward the next. The elevator becomes a portal — video mapped across its windows creates the sensation of descending deep into the earth, arriving at the threshold of a rocket launching pad. From there, the experience culminates in a dedicated cinema space where a 3D film carries the visitor upward, out of the underground and into the cosmos, through a multidimensional art gallery suspended in space. Sound and image were designed as a station to station experiential architectural project.
