ROOMS WITH VIEWS

One of the quiet pleasures of travel is the comfort of a temporary home — sometimes chosen carefully, sometimes stumbled upon. I enjoy the small ritual of finding these places. Because I often continue working on my art while travelling, I tend to look for spaces with a bit of room and a good view — somewhere to sit, work, and watch the light shift between a swim or a motorbike ride.

Over the years I've been lucky to stay in unusual settings: deep in nature, in quiet villages with wild landscapes, or in places that feel completely foreign to the world I grew up in. I love that sensation of being slightly misplaced. Sometimes a place feels dreamlike. Other times I'm ready to leave the moment I can. The beauty of it all is that it's temporary.

This is a small collection of some of the places I've loved inhabiting along the way.
