Mixing live visuals during Dj sets during the digital spring in Montreal

After my expression into drawings, my second love is video, I started at university taking video art classes, but that format and the crowd who were going to see video art festival was not where I felt nourished. That happens when Vjing became a thing, when having 4-5 video screens for 2 hours mixing live footage in the moment on Dj music for an eclectic crowd that came to dance and a lot of times where in state influenced by drugs and alcool was where I felt my language was being read  well.. Especially at the beginning when it was new and people were excited about it.

I love using video images in a rhythmic editing, mixing animated loops with segment of real life, with video texts, and create a spontaneous poetry with 3, 4 different sources that creates a new meaning of new stylistic language. I always had some type of narrative going. Never completely abstract.. but some type of meaning that works in that context and not necessarily as a stand alone.. it needs the context of music and the night out. Free to look or not.

With time, I move into a love for Djing itself and started to do nights where I not influence the mood visually but create the whole journey of sound
